The project involves restyling an apartment on Livorno’s waterfront with a dynamic and enveloping studio design. The architectural language used here explores extreme abstraction, representing an invisible architecture. Spaces become ethereal, with sharp, recurring lines facilitating a dialogue with light and shadows to accentuate the transparency of crystal and the materiality of wood, stone, and steel. This open, rarefied container welcomes different functions like living, studio, and kitchen, merging with the outside through expansive windows that frame picturesque views and captivating sunsets.
